There once lived a girl who dreamed of beauty. Such dreams, as often is the case, started to seep into her waking world and soon she saw the beauty everywhere.
Glimpse: a brief look, glance, or peek
Although this girl embraced the beauty she was well aware that others did not. She would point out the beauty to passersby. They agreed, mostly, that the world was full of beauty. Then they would turn & walk away, carelessly tossing some scrap of garbage to the ground. The girl grew frustrated.
Gaia: the primal Greek goddess personifying the Earth
Her solution sprouted suddenly. She would show them a glimpse through her own actions. Perhaps if one girl could do her best to preserve & nurture the beauty then others might choose to follow and do their best too.
